Monie Moments

Seeing many who have gifted iPad's and Smart phones to their parents.... now they are having to "teach" them how to use them! lol Reminds me of when I first started using fb and texting.... I had a friend lose their pet.... went to doggy heaven.... :-/ ... it was so sad... they really loved him.... I responded "So sorry, lol" Had no idea that I was NOT saying "So sorry, lots of love" :-/ I got a private message of correction AFTER they realized I was not being MEAN! LOL I felt just horrible! LOL Now... "LOL"

I had to do the dreaded dentist thing this morning..... the girl at the desk sent a text while I was there and it auto corrected ... so I had to tell her one of the "moments" I had a while back...it made her feel much better about her little auto correct to just one person. :-) 
I was working with a large group of people... the email list had grown to about 1,000 that I would email periodically with exciting news or updates. I sit down super excited about some things that were happening at the time and addressed them with a BIG, "HELLO TO YOU ALL" Carried on with my message which was about a couple paragraphs long..... Hit the SEND button and went on about my business.... there were several who NEVER responded... and today for some reason they did... with 'Same to you' and things like, "well aren't you so nice" and so on.... I was a little puzzled but still didn't get it until I received a text message from a close friend who said, "Monica, please go re read your email you just sent" LOL So..... I did.... and learned that the "O" in Hello is REALLY important!! ;-) When left OUT.. it changes everything! lol

I am not saying who this was this time... ;-) but.... a word of advice.... If you are ever sitting in your car waiting on some one.... and you have a long wait.... a truck pulls up beside you and every one jumps out and goes into the same event your children are in.... and you look over and they have left their over head light on..... and you sit there and you sit there.... and are just so worried about the fact they are going to come out to their truck after this late event and it is not going to crank.... so .... you think.... hmm.... just MAYBE they left it unlocked and I can reach up there and turn it off for them...you know, and act of kindness, ;-) lol .. so you get out of your car, ease over to theirs.....easily lift the handle and open the door..... you may SUDDENLY SCREAM... as the old lady in the back seat reading a book SCREAMS along with you!!!! ;-) LOL I am just saying... that could happen.... ;-) Just explain at that point that you were only trying to help them out with the light and all..... and get back in your car and read YOUR book!
