I had a friend call for me to attend a meeting with her concerning Fire Alarm systems. Now these are not just any alarms..... these are Master Guard Alarms... and
they are INCREDIBLY aweseome..... They have a presentation at a resturant and you get a free meal... after the meal they show you their systems and why they are the best there is! When you get through you sleep with the water hose!! You just HAVE to have them...
yes, we have them now! hee hee... After the show I returned to our home we had only been living in a few weeks...... I looked for the fire alarm and only found one! So.... I decided I would TEST it! I watched closly at the show, figured I could do what they
did... lol, I built me a fire in my stainless steel pot! Put paper in there and set it on fire! Got me a stool, and stood under that alarm holding up my pot of fire!!!! Creating as much smoke as possible.... waving it back and forth... back and forth... while
standing on my stool.... no alarm.... I added more paper... thought maybe I needed lots more smoke..... I had MORE smoke! lol.... I held it up real high and continued to wave it back and forth... back and forth...... while standing high on my stool.....
no alarm!!! I come to the conclusion that they were right! These things are just no good...and if we had a fire... we didn't have a chance! I got down from my stool.... put up my pot and cleaned up my fire...... about an hour or so later Rob came
home from work...... I was sitting in my office chair with my back to the hall wherthe alarm was..... he walked in and I said... "OH!! BY THE WAY! You see that alarm up there! IT DON'T WORK!" he chuckled.... and said... "what makes you think that?" I said,
"Because I done tried it out!" I preceded to tell him all about my experiement! He is grinning at me.... and I really think he is wrong for that... this IS a serious matter! I said.. "It isn't funny.... that alarm DON'T work!" He said, "Monie... that's the
doorbell" ooopppss...... I just glad no one rang the door bell while I was on that stool! LOL I think I would have broke my neck! LOL But at least I would have felt secure with my 'fire alarm' LOL
