Perspective. Isn’t it interesting how things look from the inside versus the outside?
When we remove ourselves from ownership it takes on a different look.
I can watch an episode of hoarders and suddenly I am in a cleaning mood.
I’m thinking they are 🤢….. But I can also have areas in my own life that others most likely say is a disorganized mess. OK, they probably say it’s a hoarding situation 😂 But the longer I am attached to it, the more I have ownership of
it ….the less I see the need to change it. The less it even feels like it’s the same kind of mess that is revolting to me when seen owned by others.

When my attitude is bad…. It doesn’t feel nearly as bad as someone
else’s bad attitude feels. Ever notice that?
We can talk about others and call it “information” 😂 A prayer request of sorts 😂 We are just sharing our concerns …. 🥴 But when someone outside of us “shares” it feels
like gossip….
That mess you have in that room…. You have been around it so long it feels normal. You have made ownership of your “messes” and it is comfortable.
Another sees your messes as repulsive….. and you
would also if you had not made such ownership of it and become so comfortable in it.

Your lack of commitment, feels “normal” …. You have been non committed long enough that it’s comfortable….. While to others it
is labeled as unfaithful…. You are seen as less than what you should be. If we step back every now and then and view our situation with less ownership it’s easier to see our need to change it.
I hope you can see beyond just the areas
I’ve mentioned. There are so many areas of our life where we fall into mediocrity, selfishness, greed, lower expectations of our self, because we’ve owned it right where it is at.
